Sioux City received $21 million from the Vision Iowa grant program which has been funded by Iowa gaming taxes. The grant will be allocated toward the River's Edge Project for the development of the Ground Transportation Center and the New Event Center/Auditorium.

Through gaming taxes, Argosy Casino - Sioux City has contributed $3 million to the Perry Creek Flood Control Project.

Argosy Casino's tax revenues have contributed over $1 million to improving fire department properties including building a new firehouse on Fairmont St.

The new event center/auditorium has received $7 million in gaming taxes from Argosy Casino. That doesn't include the Vision Iowa Funds that are also funded by gaming tax revenues.

Woodbury County Courthouse

Since 1996, Argosy's tax revenues have contributed $169,650 to Woodbury's Y2K preparations.

Argosy's taxes have also paid for $582,600 in remodeling, renovating, rebuilding, and improving Woodbury County buildings.
